The firmware build number is "T989UVMC6″ this software is now spotted on Samsung Kies firmware server, and might to roll out starting now through OTA and Kies. For those who currently runs with custom ROM and or rooted devices and for those who tin't wait much longer to try this out, you can manually upgrade your Galaxy S2 to official Android 4.i.2 Jelly Bean using the official build T989UVMC6 from the source below.

Install Stock T989UVMC6 Android four.ane.2 JB Firmware on Samsung Galaxy S 2 SGH-T989

This method is called manual flashing by using Odin downloader and the original stock firmware, for we can't upgrade on kies or OTA anymore after installing unofficial firmware on our devices previously.

Disclaimer: We shall not be held responsible if annihilation happens to your device by post-obit this guide. Proceed at your own adventure.This process is for advance users only, typical users may simply upgrade only thru Kies or via OTA and may non utilize this method.

Important!

i) "Extract" or "unzip" the downloaded stock ROM to get the .tar.md5 file.
2) Run Odin3_v3.07.exe on PC desktop

3) In Odin - DO Non Bank check the RE-Partitioning check box, but both 'Automobile Reboot' and 'F-Reset' left checked.

iv) Click on the PDA push button so browse to the folder where y'all extracted the stock ROM "tar file"

5. Reboot the telephone in download manner

Thanks for this, the download failed and I had reached the traffic limit, the showtime mirror is fast! The first link had most 33 minutes to download the file, now its telling me 11 minutes.

Does this have WiFi Calling and WiFi/ Bluetooth Tethering? I've been dying for a JB ROM that has WiFi Calling and wouldn't mind going to a stock build to become it.

I'thou really tempted to use this phone again every bit my primary.

Biggest reason.... Camera.

My Nexus 4 is prissy merely when I did a comparison and how it performs in low lite, it blows the N4 out of the water.

All official Tmobile releases accept WiFi calling. Not certain about tethering.

WiFi Tethering works but has limit for unlimited tethering tmobile will charge you $xv per month .
